Background
Following the task initiated during the previous Conference, GUNI now wants to focus on the emergence of a new language of knowledge.
From the perspective of sustainability, interrelation is the key to understand of ecosystems in their relationship with human society. Networks and systems are the pattern of understanding that has been extended from ecology to other areas of knowledge. It is an outstanding work of the educational community at all levels, knowledge rewrite natural and social scientists from such interaction.
Understand the world since the relationship is a challenge for any education project aimed at sustainable and that challenge begins by introducing a non-dual language, ie non-polar or exclusive but inclusive, integrative, complex and multidisciplinary.
In this sense, GUNI looks for concepts, descriptions, practices, research outcomes and learning methodologies able to show the interdependence of all fields of knowledge.
The main objective is to create an open space to share and learn together about the articulation of a sustainable culture with the conviction that it is by taking action in those contexts that we can improve real changes in education.
GUNI invites the international academy community to actively participate in the Conference with the aimof enlarging the transformative awareness of our societies.
