Accommodation
The organisation has reserved various rooms in hotels with varying categories and prices, close to the venue. It is also offering accommodation in two university halls of residence, one located five minutes on foot from the venue and the other very central. To book hotel accommodation, you will need to complete the electronic booking form before 13 Septembrer 2010. All the accommodation and extras are payable directly to the hotel in Barcelona on checking out.
For halls of residence, you will need to make a payment of 35 € for administration costs in order to make the booking. The total cost of the accommodation is payable directly to the halls of residence in Barcelona, on checking out. The 35 € administration fee is not refundable.
After 13 September 2010, the secretary's office will be unable to guarantee accommodation either in hotels or in halls of residence.
Any invoices should be requested at the hotels or halls of residence on checking out.
No accommodation booking will be confirmed until the accommodation form has been completed and a credit card number has been provided (Visa or Mastercard).

Hotel cancellation policy
From 13 September to 21 November: one night will be charged
From 22 November and no shows: the cost of the entire booking will be charged
Halls of residence cancellation policy
Before 12 November, 15% of administration costs will be charged.
After 12 November, administration costs will be not be reimbursed and the first night will be charged.
Tips on sustainability- If you are not staying at one of the hotels recommended by the conference organisers, look for accommodation that is close to the venue so that you can reach it on foot, or that is close to the public transport network.
- Do not change your towels daily, unless strictly necessary.
- Set the thermostat or air conditioning system in your room to between 20 and 25 degrees, and turn it off when you leave.
- Turn out the lights in your room whenever you leave the hotel.
- Use water responsibly. Turn taps off when you are brushing your teeth or while you soap up; choose a shower rather than a bath and avoid changing your towels too often.
